As someone who’s only started their whiskie passion. This one is really easy to drink. That’s what I found for me anyway. There are flavours but as an overall statement I would say it’s an easy whisky. The flavours are subtle and mellow.
I got this in sale for £22/$28/€26 out of a large supermarket chain.
There was no bottles left to link on amazon so here are other nice whiskys that we at Top Notch have on the shelf’s and sample often.

The Tamnavulin is a Scotch whisky from the region of Speyside, which is contained within the Highlands but runs along the coast from Inverness to the east way. The distillery is in the town of Tomnavoulin and as the website says. Has around 40 people in the middle of the Speyside.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Chocolate mousse, extra thick double cream with a dusting of brown sugar, stewed apples and blackberries.
Palate: Christmas pudding, chocolate brownies, yellow plum and toffee-coated barley.
Finish: Spiced rum sweetness lingers on the finish

Nop Notch Notes.
It’s nice…
With jokes aside at this stage of the whisky journey and with a probably a pallet like a rubber sole, thanks to chillis and garlic.
I didn’t get as much notes as these guys did.
What I did get was a mellow flavour that was sweet. It also had slight salt flavour to it and that’s what can be smelled as well. I did get brown sugar, and it did stay on the finish. If I had to push the limits I would say slightly fruity. But nothing I could proper pin what on. As for the chocolate, cream Christmas pudding im not so sure about. Maybe now I should go back and try it again to find it. But this is the initial views. ( Half a bottle gone )
Summary
An enjoyable easy drinking whisky. Nothing too noticeable for me. Nothing bad about it either, that’s why there’s not much left. Tho I’d rather finish this bottle and saviour the Bunnahabbain for longer. I would buy again if on offer in the shops. And wouldn’t say no to a dram or nip of it.
